If you decide that your business is selling products and services subject to Sales Tax, apply for the Sales Tax License by completing the PA-100 Pennsylvania Enterprise Registration Form.  The quickest and easiest way to complete the application is directly on-line.  Just log onto the Department's on-line web site listed above. 

You can retrieve your account number(s) by simply logging onto the same site the next business day after you completed the online PA-100.  Click on "Check on Application Status" and enter your Application ID and 4-digit PIN.  You will receive your license(s) and or registration notice(s) along with temporary tax returns in the mail in 7 to 10 business days.  Your Sales Tax License should be prominently displayed at the location of the business.  There is no fee in obtaining a Sales Tax license.
