Show Hours & Admission

When are the shows?
Most MarketPro Computer Show hours are 9:30am-4:00pm except for shows at Lehman College in Bronx, NY and Queens College in Queens, NY  which are 10:00am-5:00pm.

Where can I find your show schedule?
We recommend that you get on our mailing list or e-mail list. You will receive a schedule of shows in your area and $1 off one admission. Our website provides the most up-to-date listing of computer shows.

How much is admission?
Admission is $7.00 ($6.00 in Allentown). Discount coupons are available.

Why does MarketPro charge an admission fee?
MarketPro provides a service to all of our customers (more than 2.5 million per year attend our shows), by bringing together a wide variety of computer dealers into one location to sell computer merchandise at discount prices. Admission proceeds help defray costs for the facility, equipment rentals, advertising, show production and staffing.

Do you charge less in the afternoon?
Our discount coupon for $1 off, which you can get off the website, e-mail, postcard mailing, or newspaper ad, applies all day. There are no additional discounts for late arrivals.

How do I get a $1 discount?
There are many ways in which you can receive $1 off admission:

    1. IMMEDIATE DOWNLOAD: Download a coupon from this site

    2. E-MAIL: Sign-up for automatic e-mail notification to receive a coupon via e-mail,

    3. DIRECT MAIL LIST: Sign up on our postcard mailing list at any show

    4. PRINT ADVERTISING: Show coupons appear in our local print advertising (check your major daily newspaper the week of the show)

    5. SHOW FLYERS: Be sure to pick-up a flyer once you are in the show; this will provide you with upcoming show information and a coupon for discounted admission.

What credit cards does MarketPro accept?
MarketPro only accepts cash for admission to the shows, however, many of our Exhibitors will accept credit cards. MarketPro does accept credit cards for our Multi-Show Pass.

Do I have to pay for parking?
At most MarketPro shows you will not need to pay for parking. However, some locations may charge a parking fee. This fee goes to the facility, not MarketPro.

Where is the nearest ATM?
Many venues have ATMs on site, but not all. Signs will be posted by the cashiers at each show. Try to bring cash so as not to miss any great deals.


Products & Exhibitors

What merchandise is at the show?
Hardware, software, desktops, laptops, computer parts & components, accessories, ink, paper, flatscreen monitors, printers and scanners are an example of the range of merchandise. We also have high performance products for gaming systems including video cards, mother boards & processors.  Everything is for PCs (sorry no Mac). Exhibitors bring their own products, so we don't quote prices or give details on exactly what specific products you will find. However, the selection is vast and our customers usually find what they are looking for.

Will there be name brand (Compaq, Dell, Gateway) computer equipment at the show?
There are name brand printers, monitors, scanners, & laptops. Typically, the full systems are built to order to meet your needs and are not Compaq, Dell, etc.

Are there laptops?
Yes there are usually dealers selling laptops at each show; we don't guarantee that there will be exactly what you are looking for at each show. You may call the office prior to the show to determine if there will be specific exhibitors present for the show you wish to attend. (201) 825-2229 ext 0 Mon-Fri between 9:30am-5:30pm.

Will there be Mac products sold at the show?
Most of the hardware items found are for PCs, but occasionally we do have Mac dealers at the show. We recommend you call us prior to the show at (201) 825-2229 Mon-Fri between 9:30am-5:30pm to verify if one will be exhibiting.

How many vendors are at the shows?
MarketPro has between 100-300 tables of merchandise at our shows.

Is it really 80% off?
We have found that customers save between 20% - 80% on computer merchandise. MarketPro does not sell the merchandise; therefore, the individual companies who are selling at our shows dictate the discount levels. With so many exhibitors under one roof, the customers benefit by price competition among the exhibitors. We recommend that you come prepared with pricing from other outlets and negotiate at the show for the best price.

Can you give me a layout of the room?
This information is not made public; however, if you are looking for a specific exhibitor, we can let you know if they will be attending. When you arrive at the show you can ask a staff member where this exhibitor is located.

Can I have a list of the exhibitors?
We can let you know if a specific exhibitor is registered for a show; however, we do not distribute our exhibitor lists.

How do I find out if an exhibitor is at the show?
Either call the office (201) 825-2229 ext. 0 the week of the show or ask the staff at the show.

What credit cards do the exhibitors accept?
Exhibitors have individual policies regarding the credit cards they accept. Please ask the exhibitor prior to making a purchase.

What types of warranties are available for products I purchase at the show?
Our shows feature different computer wholesalers, retailers and distributors selling primarily PC computer hardware, software, accessories and services. Each exhibitor has its own set of policies and warranties; therefore, we are unable to give specific information on each company. We suggest you come prepared with competitive pricing and warranty information from other outlets to get the best price, service and warranty possible. Be sure to discuss warranties and return policies with each exhibitor prior to making a purchase, and be sure to get written documentation of these policies along with a receipt for your purchases.

What are the exhibitor return policies for products sold at the show?
Return policies will vary from one exhibitor to another and in many cases, from one product to another. Always ask the exhibitors for their return policy and get it in writing.

How do I register a complaint about an exhibitor?
For the most part, transactions take place without any problems. On those rare occasions where you have an issue with a product purchased at a show, your first step is to contact the exhibitor directly to resolve your concern. If you are not satisfied with the service you receive, please contact MarketPro to file a formal complaint at customerservice@marketpro.com  Our Exhibitor Resolution Form may be filled out and faxed along with a copy of your receipt to (201) 825-2346. Upon return of this form we will forward your written complaint and documentation to the exhibitor. We request their prompt response to be directly to you. MarketPro makes no guarantee of refund or exchange but will do everything within our limits to provide customer satisfaction. All complaints will be permanently logged into our exhibitor records so that we can continuously monitor that our exhibitors remain reputable.


Mailing Lists

What are the benefits of being on the MarketPro Mailing List?
Being on the postcard mailing list or the e-mail list provides you with advanced notification of the shows, discounted admission and special offers.

How can I register for the mailing lists?
You may register for the postcard mailing list on-site at any show. Or you may sign up on our e-mail list.

Does MarketPro sell it's mailing list?
No. Both our e-mail list and our postcard mailing list are for the exclusive use of MarketPro, Inc. and will not be sold. You may receive promotional information from our event sponsors as part of your postcard or e-mail notification. We do not spam!

When does the e-mail notification of the show schedule go out?
These are sent out the Tuesday or Wednesday prior to the shows.


Multi-Show Pass

What is a Multi-Show Pass?
MarketPro is pleased to offer another opportunity to save on show admission with our Multi-Show Pass. The Multi-Show Pass allows a customer to attend 8 show days for only $35! You are getting 8 show entries for the price of 5! The Multi-Show Pass never expires and is transferable to anyone (however the pass may only be used once per show day). Plus, the Multi-Show Pass allows pass-holders to proceed directly to the ticket taker...no more waiting in ticket sales lines. For more information ask the cashiers at any show or call (201) 825-2229 ext. 16.

Can I get a Multi-Show Pass in the mail?
MarketPro will mail you a Multi-Show Pass if you purchase it over the phone and pay by credit card or if you pay by credit card or check at a show. There is a $3 fee for shipping and handling (for each delivery address) since the card is sent certified mail.

What happens if I lose my Multi-Show Pass?
For your benefit, our Multi-Show Pass is transferable and may be used by anyone. As such, it should be treated like cash. MarketPro cannot be held responsible for any lost pass.
